Archie Brousseau

I am the Founder/Owner of the Carolina Hammerheads Baseball Club. I have been coaching at the Fort Mill Parks and Rec department since 2012 , coaching travel baseball since 2016, and coaching at South Meck High School since 2021. Thru the years, I have coached all ages from T-Ball up to 14U. My coaching career started in the rec department of Fort Mill with many successes from Regular Season Championships to State Championships. In 2015, I was a part of the coaching staff of the Coach Pitch State finalists and District Runner Up. In 2018, I was the Head Coach of Fort Mill Ozone State Finalist and District Runner Up. Over the years, I have captured 2 runner up district trophies, 1 runner up at Winter National Championships 10U, 1 3rd place in East Coast Championships 10U, Runner up Beast Of the East Championships 8U, and 3 Championships Runner Up in the rec program in Fort Mill.  First season at South Meck HS lead the JV program to a 9-6 record. Helped assist South Meck Varsity program to 3rd round of the playoffs with big wins over Lake Norman and East Forsyth HS.  

Before my coaching career, I have played baseball from the age of 8 all the way up to high school. Thru the years of my playing times, I have captured 1 All Star nomination, 2 Championships, 1 Improved Player of the Year, and 1 Player of the Year awards. 

I love the game and the kids that I have had the blessing to have coached thru the years! I have the passion for both the game and the kids. I believe in developing the kids not just on the field but off the field as well. I try to instill to every kid that I have coached and will coach in the future, that its not just about baseball. One day these kids will become someone's husband/wife, father/mother, and/or coworker. Try hard, work hard, and NEVER QUIT!

I still reside in Fort Mill. I have 3 amazing kids named Lyric, Levi, and Aidan. When I am not coaching the game, I am spending my free time with them. My three kids are the love and joy of my life. Nothing gives me more satisfaction then watching my 3 kids grow into their own individuals. Out of the 3 kids, Levi is the one that intrigued me to start coaching baseball.

I am VERY excited to have this opportunity and be able to give these kids the opportunity to play/grow. Between the coaches and myself, we will set the example, we will be mentors, and we will.... BECOME FAMILY!!!!
